Austrian fabric maker Willy Hermann will be crowned Lingerie Designer of the Year by Interfilière Paris next month.
The company will be honoured with the coveted title at the textiles exhibition, which opens on January 23.
Swiss brand Hanro will be handed the same award by Salon International de la Lingerie, which runs alongside the show.
Founded in 1934, Willy Hermann is best known for developing circular and warp knits under the patented SUPERFINE brand.
A spokesperson for Interfilière said: “Today, SUPERFINE is known around the world for its purity and technological finesse, and it remains unequalled after 15 years.”
The current SUPERFINE collection includes a choice of more than 1,500 fabrics, with knitted stitches that are invisible to the naked eye.
SUPERFINE fabrics are distinguished by their smooth surface. They are designed to give a sensation of lightness and well-being – with a touch of luxury.
