A new line of lingerie and nightwear is to be launched under the name of the former model and muse of Karl Lagerfeld, Inés de la Fressange.
The collection, which will be launched at Salon International de la Lingerie, is to be produced under licence by Le Textile Indemaillable, which also produces Le Chat, said the brand’s CEO Grégoire Chalumet.
No images of the collection have been released, but sketches indicate that the pieces will be relaxed, nonchalant and tongue-in-cheek, a reflection of de la Fressange’s famously chic personal style.
Designs will include velvet and silk tuxedo-style loungewear; the Idylle print, featuring birds perched on apple-blossom branches; and supersoft cotton jerseys. Colours include pink, vermillion, grey and almond green.
