Last week, INDX Intimate Apparel announced an expanded show format for its SS18 edition.
Due to take place this summer, the show will bring together more than 85 industry names.
So what do lingerie retailers need to know about the exhibition in order to have a successful and productive show?
When and where will INDX take place?
INDX Intimate Apparel will open on August 6-8 at Cranmore Park Exhibition Centre in Solihull. It will run concurrently with Moda Body/Active at the NEC, giving buyers another reason to visit Birmingham during that time.
Opening times are as follows:
Sunday 6 August: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Monday 7 August: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Tuesday 8 August: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Who can attend?
The INDX show is designed specifically and exclusively for independent retailers. It is organised by buyers with experience in the independent sector and this perspective creates a unique buyer-focused approach.
Amanda Partridge, the organiser of INDX Intimate Apparel, has been a buyer within the independent sector for over 12 years
She said: “When we started thinking about how we wanted the INDX shows to be it was natural to approach it from a buyer’s perspective. We have been visiting trade shows as buyers for years so it was easy to identify our likes and dislikes.
“High on our priority list was making visiting the shows a stress-free experience and creating an informal, relaxed yet professional environment.”
In what way has the show expanded?
The SS18 edition of INDX Intimate Apparel will present an extended and expanded format, including a new Sunday opening and an additional 30 brands, many of whom will have moved to INDX following the decision not to include lingerie and swimwear at Moda.
Cranmore park has increased its exhibition space over the past couple of years by over 500m2, meaning the show will now cover 3500m2.
Which brands can I expect to see?
Longstanding show supporters such as Wacoal, Fantasie, Freya, Triumph, Playtex, Lepel, Charnos, Chantelle, Panache, Lou, Bestform, Naturana, Elle MacPherson, Evollove, Pretty Polly, Gossard, Wonderbra, Pleasure State, Ringella, Taubert and Cyberjammies will be joined by brands including Vanilla, Mey, Anita, Maryan Mehlhorn, Felina, Gottex, Moontide, Miraclesuit, Roidal and Maison Lejaby.
