Industry bound for Paris as Salon International prepares to open doors

An array of international intimate apparel suppliers will travel to Paris today as the Salon International de la Lingerie trade show gets set to open its doors.

They’ll be working through the evening to prepare their stands for the thousands of visitors that are expected to pass through the Porte de Versailles expo centre tomorrow.

Some 480 brands will exhibit at the three-day show, across six sectors – lingerie and corsetry; sleepwear and loungewear; designer luxury labels; hosiery; emerging brands; and men’s underwear.

Visitors to the show will be treated to three catwalk shows per day, a range of conferences and seminars, an AW17/18 trends forum and, for the first time, a pop-up space that will showcase 40 emerging brands.
