Galleria Intima, is taking place in New Delhi, India, for the fourth year this summer .
The lingerie show runs from August 26-27 is described by its organiser, the Intimate Apparel Association of India, as the fastest growing show of its kind in Asia.
This year’s show already has 80 confirmed exhibitors, including 15 from China.
Local and international brands exhibit at the show, but it is best known for its OEM manufacturers, which promote their manufacturing services to global lingerie houses.
“The highlight of this show would be a host of OEMs, machinery and packaging companies participating this year making it truly a one-stop-shop destination for intimate wear manufacturing,” says the organiser.
A series of seminars and workshops will run alongside the exhibition where international visitors can learn about the advancing skills available from Indian manufacturers.
Yusuf Dohadwala, CEO of IAAI explains: “The objective of the trade show is to showcase the best that the country has got to offer while enabling international suppliers to gain a foothold in the Indian intimate wear market. The reasons behind the rise in visitor footfall and participation are not difficult to fathom.
