Independent Yorkshire boutique supports local lingerie brand

Newly launched Sheffield-based lingerie brand, Lucy May, is now stocked in local Stocksbridge store, Bella Eve Boutique.

Lucy May is run by two lingerie experts with 48 years’ combined industry experience. Keeping the same local ethos, they will be producing their next collection entirely within the UK with design and manufacturing in Sheffield.

Bella Eve Boutique owner, Jen Jackson, is extremely passionate about stocking handmade items made in Yorkshire and believes the brand will be an asset to her portfolio.

“Being a J cup myself I know how hard it is to find bras that not only fit comfortably but are also available in pretty colours” explained Jackson. Fed up of being told underwear on the high street doesn’t go up to her size, Jackson decided to take matters into her own hands and opened the boutique that caters to all sizes.

Helping local businesses is something very close to Jackson’s heart. Bella Eve Boutique opened in December 2016 and specialises in bras and swimwear ranging from an A to K cup. As the company is focused supporting local businesses, Jackson also stocks accessories and bespoke ladies wear made by local designers.

Jackson had always wanted to open a boutique locally that could provide all ladies with specialist underwear – ”where the phrase no one size fits all here” – could not be more appropriate.
