Tesco fended off Next, Marks & Spencer to claim a top-five spot in a ranking of the retailers with the most online traffic, according to figures from IMRG.
The inaugural IMRG Top 50 Retailer Ranking, compiled by comScore, ranked Tesco fourth in the list, while Next, M&S and Asos followed behind in sixth, seventh and eighth places respectively.
But it was Amazon UK, Argos and Apple that claimed the top three place in the survey.
IMRG managing director Graeme Howe said: “We are very excited to launch the Top 50 Retailer Ranking in partnership with comScore, as there has been significant demand for the return of such a chart from retailers and the press. We believe this is the definitive list that everyone has been waiting for.”
