Pure London, the UK’s top trade fashion buying event, will offer a seminar programme with key industry speakers for its next edition at the Kensington Olympia from August 4th to the 6th.
At the Grand Hall Stage, situated near the body and women’s wear areas, panel discussions on various facets of lingerie, bodywear, shapewear and other intimate apparel will take place. Leading trend forecaste WGSN will offer insights on the cuts, colours and styles predicted to dominate in 2014 and stylist Tamar Kendall will speak about lingerie. Catwalk fashion shows will also take place, providing a chance to see new looks up close.
Various speakers will focus on business-specific challenges, including TV personality and retail analyst Kate Hardcastle, who will talk about customer relations. Safia Minney, founder and CEO of People Tree, will share her insights on retail and promoting ethical fashion.
Drapers “How To” money expert Bobby Lane will also deliver a talk on cash flow and stock management, while stylist Ihunna Eberendu will lead a master class on dressing for different body types. Additionally, other leaders from across the fashion industry will appear at the event.
