King’s Road Sporting Club will be the first retailer to stock young contemporary brand Hurley YC’s SS11 women and kids collection , from May 2011.
The beach culture brand, which aims to reflect ‘freedom of expression and the joy it brings,’ has gone from strength to strength since it was founded 1998, after the Hurley company parted ways with iconic US brand Billabong.
Raj Manufacturing (the Hurley licensee for the Women and little girl swimwear category) European business director Nicolas Fouchet said: “Music and art are pure gifts we truly value. Creativity drives our curiosity of the world. Hurley girl core age is 19. She is inspired by creativity and interested by the nomadic lifestyles of the music and surf cultures.”
In January 2010, RAJ Manufacturing established a direct sell model in Europe& Middle East with a commercial office based in France.
The Hurley girl swimwear category is represented in UK by two swimwear agents, Jaqui Copley and Nicola Groom.
Retailers OSD RIP GIRL and Simply Beach have also placed orders for the new collection, to be delivered later this year.
