Dutch lingerie retailer Hunkemöller ended 2017 on a high note after securing a top European-based business award.
The brand, which first entered the UK market in 2016, was crowned the Retailer of the Year for 2017-2018 by Q&A, Europe’s largest retail awards voted for by consumers.
The awards, which were presented without a ceremony, are an initiative from Q&A and were organised in 10 European countries this year. Retail chains that had won a category award in at least four countries were eligible for the Retailer of the Year Europe title.
1.5 million consumers gave 2.7 million reviews of their favourite online store, across ten European countries.
Consumers rated retailers on everything from customer service to prices, to product quality. The retailer with the highest score is crowned the best retailer of the year in their category and country. Hunkemöller won the title with a 7.95 rating, based on 28,730 votes.
The award win comes after the announcement that Hunkemöller is implementing new technology from Logility Voyager Solutions to support its growing omni-channel operations across the globe.
The 800-store outfit is aiming to improve full price sell-through, increase net margin performance, and automate its allocation and replenishment process after deploying the software across its business.
