TV presenter Holly Willoughby has been voted as having the best celebrity cleavage in a poll of 1000 women, closely followed by Scarlett Johansson and Beyonce.
Cleavage booster Wonderbra conducted the research to create a Cleavage Hall of Fame, which was unveiled today at its UK Headquarters to celebrate National cleavage Day.
31-year-old Willoughby was considered to have all of the elements required to make the perfect cleavage, according to the UK women voters.
The perkiness of the breasts, how close they sit together and the size of breasts were all voted top of the list compiled by the bra brand.
The full list of celebrities inducted into the Hall of Fame following the public vote is as follows:
1. Holly Willoughby
2. Scarlett Johansson
5. Marilyn Monroe
6. Dita Von Teese
7. Katy Perry
8. Brigitte Bardot
9. Kim Kardashian
10. Lara Stone
The research also investigated women’s attitudes to cleavage and revealed that two thirds (65 percent) of British women are happy to show cleavage as it makes them feel ‘feminine and sexy’, improves the fit of their clothes and gives them more confidence.
Furthermore, the research reportedly showed that women use their cleavage as a ‘secret weapon’. Half of all women asked had used their cleavage to be served at a bar, whilst others had used it to make a lasting impression on a first date (28 percent). Some women had used it to get to the front of a queue (16 percent) and even to talk their way out of a parking ticket or speeding fine (8 percent).
Wonderbra spokesperson Martina Alexander said: “We are thrilled that British beauty Holly Willoughby fought off such strong competition to become the first celebrity to be inducted in to the Wonderbra Cleavage Hall of Fame. Wonderbra is proud to be the original cleavage creator and what better excuse for women to celebrate their curves than today, National Cleavage Day?”
National Cleavage is an annual celebration created by Wonderbra in 2002 as a day for women to ‘acknowledge that their cleavage is something unique and that they should be proud of it’.
