Swiss brand Hanro has presented the results of a lingerie project, undertaken to optimise bra fit and fabrications, to UK buyers.
Whilst exhibiting at INDX Intimate Apparel this week, the label said it has collaborated with bra fit expert Frauke Nagel to improve fit and support across all bra styles for SS18.
The news comes as Hanro, renowned for developing luxury loungewear for men and women, expands its lingerie offering.
Nagel has previously worked as a bra fitting consultant for Wacoal Europe and a lingerie designer for brands such as La Pela, Jockey and Falke.
She is also the founder of German lingerie brand Fräulein Annie.
As part of the new bra project, she did an internal bra fitting on 100 women of all ages and body types.
From there, Hanro developed bras with a more natural, round shape. Its Moments wire bra now has a higher neckline for better coverage, and the underband is designed to sit flat against the chest.
Meanwhile, the Moments soft bra is now available up to a D cup and has additional lining on the lower cup for improved support.
