Gossard is reinventing itself this season, with new designs destined for the wardrobe, not the lingerie drawer.
The heritage brand is presenting an AW17 collection at Salon International de la Lingerie this weekend that is defined by shapes, colours and innovations that are made to be seen.
Highlights include Gossard’s first long-sleeve body. Part of the best-selling Glossies range, which was reinvented in lace last season, the new line features delicate mesh panelling and a plunging V neckline.
The Glossies Lace collection also offers a non-wired triangle bra with a sporty racer back and a front fastener, paying homage to the first Glossies range, which was launched in the 1980s.
The new Delilah Rose range also epitomises the sports luxe trend, with soft, geometric mesh combined with luxury lace. Available in coral blush, the collection offers a non-wired, long-line bra with a single strap at the back.
Other new styles that are designed to be seen include the high neck Venus bra crafted with soft lace cups, a halter style neck made with contrasting tulle net, a sensual key hole design in the front and back, a lace collar and a luxurious satin band. This style is part of Gossard’s premium VIP range.
