Gilda & Pearl partners with Scottish design house

Luxury label Gilda & Pearl has partnered with Glasgow-based print design studio Timorous Beasties to create a capsule sleepwear collection for AW15.

The exclusive four-piece collection includes a smoking jacket, long robe, kimono and slip, hand crafted in opulent silk velvet and silk crepe de chine fabrics featuring Beasties’ ‘Butterfly Blurr’ print.

The time-honoured print has been exclusively re-worked in a colour palette of jewel tones to compliment the full Gilda & Pearl AW15 range.

“I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Timorous Beasties,” said Gilda & Pearl founder Diane Houston, who launched her brand in Scotland in 2009, before opening a studio in London last year.

“They were founded in and are still based in my home town of Glasgow so I’ve been an admirer of the brand for some time. I have always loved their approach to design, craftsmanship and incredibly intricate patterns, and of course admired their success through being so committed to their craft, outlook and vision.”

Stockists carrying the line include Selfridges and Harrods.
