British luxury lingerie and sleepwear brand Gilda and Pearl has received the Butterfly Mark Award for its contributions to British manufacturing and sustainability.
The Butterfly Mark is a stamp of approval designed recognise the luxury lifestyle brands that take pride in their craftsmanship, service and design whilst caring for their employees and suppliers.
All Gilda & Pearl lingerie is ethically sourced, with silk fabrics from suppliers in London and Manchester, English laces from Nottingham and French laces from Calais and Caudry.
Each design is created and hand finished in the UK by designer Diane Houston alongside a team of craftspeople.
Positive Luxury, the company behind the Butterfly Mark, assesses brands across five areas: governance, social framework, environmental framework, philanthropy and innovation.
