British luxury lingerie and sleepwear brand Gilda & Pearl is set to expand its international stockists; launching into renowned American department store Barneys and online at luxury digital retailer Farfetch this Autumn.
A selection of Gilda & Pearl’s popular signature designs and an edit of new SS17 styles will be available in Barneys stores in Las Vegas, New York, Beverley Hills and Barneys.com from mid November, with the full collection launching on Farfetch from October 19.
The new launches are part of the brand’s aggressive growth strategy with international markets being a key focus for the remainder of 2016 and into 2017. Gilda & Pearl have already seen significant growth over the past two years with launches into department store Harrods and a number of leading boutiques around the world, including a planned launch at the new La Villa 1889 luxury concept store in Dubai in January 2017.
Two rounds of investment have also aided Gilda & Pearl’s expansion; funding the launch of the Gilda & Pearl bespoke atelier in Mayfair London last year (the brand’s first bricks and mortar retail concept), a new ecommerce website and additions to the head office team with managing director, Richard Hinzel, and a new sales director, Ira Blink.
