Gilda & Pearl enters Harrods with bridal pop-up

Luxury lingerie and sleepwear label Gilda & Pearl is set to launch into iconic British department store Harrods in May.

A selection of the label’s classic styles, a preview of new AW15 designs and some show-stopping exclusives will be available in store from the beginning of the month.

To celebrate the launch, and to coincide with the summer wedding season, Gilda & Pearl will also host an exclusive pop-up bridal monogramming service in store throughout May and June.

The British brand will offer customers the option to have their initials embellished in Swarovski Elements crystal onto a pure silk bow bridal garter or pure silk Dahlia Bride knicker.

Gilda & Pearl founder and designer Diane Houston said she is delighted that her collection will be stocked in one of Britain’s most prestigious department stores.

“Gilda & Pearl and Harrods share brand values around true luxury and modern British fashion therefore it feels like a natural fit to be launching in store,” she added.

“Luxury is very much a side-effect of our creativity – our collections are hand-crafted in the UK using beautiful and sometimes exclusive fabrics and exquisite hand-detailing. Harrods is synonymous with this kind of modern British luxury – needless to say we’re delighted to be in such elegant company.”

Key styles set to launch in Harrods include the Gina long slip in ivory silk-satin, with gold Leavers Lace framing the bust, and the Diana babydoll, which has been updated for Harrods in a pretty ‘boudoir rose’ palette.

Classics include the Harlow kimono, babydoll, bra and classic knicker. These delicate styles combine antique-gold French Levers Lace with pure silk satin in blush.
