Seafolly has enlisted American supermodel Gigi Hadid as its 2015 brand ambassador.
The 19 year-old, who appeared on the cover of Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book in 2014, will front the Australian swimwear brand’s latest campaign.
Hadid follows in the footsteps of Miranda Kerr, Behati Pinsloo and Jessica Hart, who have all modelled for the label.
Seafolly CEO Anthony Halas commented: ‘’Gigi represents the true Seafolly girl; she is fresh-faced, fit, confident and was born on the beach.
“We are delighted to partner with her as we embark on our global journey and exciting new phase of expansion,” he added.
On her appointment, Hadid said: “My love for Australia is deep. Growing up on the beaches of Malibu I have lived in a bikini for as long as I can remember and being the ambassador of such an iconic swimwear brand is something I’m very proud to be a part of.”
Seafolly’s SS15 campaign was captured in Mexico by renowned fashion photographer Enrique Badulescu.
The new collection is made up halter-neck and triangle bikinis featuring monochrome patterns and pops of bright colour.
The range also includes a sport-inspired zip-up tankini and a black one-piece with cut-out detailing at the front.
