George at Asda launches cheap bridal lingerie

George at Asda has launched a budget four piece ‘bridal inspired’ lingerie collection.

Products are available from £11.50 to £16, prices which – according to the retailer – are a massive1,639 percent lower than the most expensive high street alternative.

Asda has claimed that many other stores charge up to 282 percent more for bridal lingerie, which it stated will often cost between £62 to £200, in comparison to £22 for a regular set.

George brand director Fiona Lambert said: "Brides-to-be want to look and feel their best on the big day, but don’t always want to spend a fortune and add to the cost of the wedding.

“We wanted to show that you can design a beautiful set of underwear in a luxurious fabric at a great price with our new bridal-inspired lingerie. Plus, the savings made by purchasing a lingerie set by George could buy an extra night on honeymoon."
