Galeries Lafayette to champion emerging lingerie brands during Paris trade show

Renowned Parisian department store Galeries Lafayette will open a pop-up shop dedicated to emerging brands from around the world.

The new space, named UNCOVER, will present new styles from around 20 brands, including Britain’s Dora Larsen, French brand Ysé Lingerie and Ciso, created and developed by Brazilian designer Teca Pasqua.

It will open on January 20 to mark the opening of Paris trade show Salon International de la Lingerie the following day, and will close on February 14.

The brainchild behind the pop-up shop is Matthieu Pinet, founder of the online gallery-boutique The Shape of the Season.

He is also working with Eurovet, the organisers of Salon International de la Lingerie, to create a larger version of the pop-up at the exhibition, which will present 40 lingerie, corsetry, loungewear, sportswear, and beauty brands.

“Uncover offers a novel interpretation of style and a new perception of modernity in a soulful environment designed to inspire,” said Pinet.
