Freya lingerie has hit the 30,000 fans mark on Facebook, a milestone that follows successful online campaigns including its Brad Doctors advice service, Blog Star search and Photo Booth competition.
The brand said it launched the page to be closer to and engage more with its fans. The success of its UK page has led to the launch of Freya Facebook profiles for the French, Polish and Dutch markets.
Fans of Freya can use the page to find stores, download the brand’s latest look books and sign up to its e-newsletters.
Freya’s head of marketing Ann-Marie Manley said: “We’re absolutely delighted to have reached 30,000 fans on Facebook and would like to thank everyone for their support. We run our Freya Facebook here right in the heart of Freya HQ so our fans our kept up to date with everything, whether it’s a fit event taking place or the launch of a new collection we’d like their thoughts on.”
She added that social media sites such as Facebook have become “an incredibly important mouth piece” for Freya, to raise awareness about the brand and speak with its fans on a much more personal level.
“Reaching 30,000 is only the start and we’re going to work hard to build this up further over the next 12 months,” Manley added.
