Freya Active, the official partner to England Netball, is celebrating the team’s win against Jamaica.
The brand, who have been working with England Netball since 2012, were delighted that the England Netball team were triumphant in all of three scheduled matches against the Jamaican team ‘The Sunshine Girls’.
Recognising netball as the largest growing all female participant sport in the country, Freya Active has been working with England Netball to encourage more women to get back into sport as well as to promote the importance of wearing a correctly fitting sports bra.
The performance kit, which features a built in Active sports bra features a Polygiene odour control technology, allowing the England Netball team to train and stay fresh effectively before playing each match. The team were also spotted wearing Active sports swimwear post match, during their team recovery sessions.
Ann-Marie Manley from Freya Active said: “We’re so pleased we were able to support England Netball in Jamaica and thrilled with their success! Out of the six matches played so far this year, the team have won them all, so we’re incredibly excited to see what the rest of the year holds.
"It’s so important we have the correct sports bra support when playing sport, and with the numbers of women playing and rejoining netball increasing significantly, we’re continuing to work with England Netball to ensure more women realise why they should wear a sports bra as well as to raise awareness with the younger generation.”
