Fred & Ginger launches exclusive ASOS collection

Lingerie brand Fred & Ginger has announced the launch of an exclusive lingerie collection for

The two companies already have Britain’s Next Top Model in common, with Fred & Ginger featuring on this year’s show and ASOS acting as sponsor for the series.

The new collection is designed using strong ‘brights’ and seeks to appeal to a wide market. Keeping the ethos of the brand, Fred & Ginger has designed the collection with 50’s glamour in mind and, inspired by the pin-up girl of the era, has produced combination sets in a variety of shapes, which are brought up to date with satins in striking colours.

The collection seeks to stand out with its use of deep purple’s, rich navy’s and fuchsia pink’s, featuring an ivory lace trim and a lilac bow detailing. It includes halter-neck or balconette bra’s, frilly knickers and thongs.

Fred & Ginger designer Victoria Holt said: "I was delighted to be asked to design a capsule collection for, as one of the leaders in online fashion, it’s the perfect synergy."

She added: "With Fred & Ginger being a high-end brand, that may be too expensive for some, I wanted to appeal to a new consumer base. Designing this collection for has allowed me to do that without compromising my own brand."
