Frantic About Frances to make Moda debut in August

Frantic About Frances will make its industry debut at Moda in August, 2012.

The Brighton-based brand will show its SS13 collections in the Moda Rouge area of the show.

The label, which specialises in pin-up girl lingerie made from quirky printed cottons, was founded in late 2010.

Since the launch, it has been featured in Vogue and gained stockists both locally in Brighton, and nationally online.

For SS13, Frantic About Frances will produce three collections: Cherry Cutie, Be Bop a Lula and Strawberry Shortcake.

Staying true to the brand’s 1950’s vibe, these sets will feature bullet bras in printed cottons, decorated knickers and retro-style deep suspender belts.

The Collections

Cherry Cutie
‘Girlish and fun, designed to evoke first kisses, love letters and 1950’s drive through movies. Be sugary and sweet in this cherry printed set.’

Be Bop a Lula
‘She’s my baby… Inspired by the smouldering sounds of Gene Vincent, this polka dot set is designed for vintage vixons to tempt and tease.’

Strawberry Shortcake
‘Inspired by summer picnics, True Blood’s Sookie Stackhouse and 1950’s icon Brigitte Bardot; this set evokes womanly innocence, with a dash of excitement.’
