Footballers seize WAXX undies at Norton Barrie

Norton Barrie’ in Wilmslow, Cheshire, has completely sold out of WAXX Underwear in record time after being shopped out by famous sportsmen.

Football stars Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard and Manchester United star Tom Cleverley bought every single design in the new collection, including new styles sixty six, funky ducks, snowgirl, teddy bears, reef and casino.

Shop owner Blake Norton then received phonecalls from Manchester City player Mario Balotelli and Manchester United player Anderson, who wanted to know if the new designs were in stock and if they could buy the whole season range.

Norton revealed that Balotelli and Anderson are massive fans of the brand and – luckily – he had added on a L in every design as he knew they would be in again this season.

Norton, who is reportedly known for his ‘dapper styling skills, fun personality, and honest opinion’ and has reportedly converted many of his customers from Calvin Klein to WAXX by telling them ‘If you buy one pair, I promise you will be back for more.’

UK distributor Elite Apparel’s Nicola Groom said: “The AW12 collection has been the most popular yet, with cheeky new prints and comfortable Lycra design, it’s no wonder WAXX has been the talk of the boys changing room.”

Norton Barrie has been stocking WAXX since 2008 and, according to Norton, the brand is the store’s best selling underwear brand and a celebrity favourite.
