Luxury label Fleur of England has been honoured with the National NatWest Venus International Business Award for its outstanding global business achievements.
CEO and founder Fleur Turner was among 22 winners to have their work recognised at the Venus Business Women Awards’ National Finals in Basingstoke on Friday.
The news comes 10 months after Turner picked up a regional gong at the Bristol and Somerset Venus Awards, which allowed her to go forward to the National Finals.
Commenting on her win, she said: "I am absolutely delighted to have won the International Business Award. To be formally recognised as an international brand in such a niche but competitive market as lingerie, is testament to the skill and commitment of our small but dedicated team.
“While our website has helped to break down international trade barriers with consumers, we have continued to develop direct relationships with overseas retailers and are now stocked in over 70 boutiques in 23 countries.
“This award for me acknowledges the quality of both our product and our service and those standards are as a result of every drop of energy and inspiration (in equal measures) of everyone at Fleur of England. "
