The final show report from Salon International de la Lingerie has been released and shows that despite a 12% drop in visitors, the atmosphere remained upbeat with a number of new accounts opened.
However, due to the snow, a number of Western European buyers could not get to Paris, with late and cancelled trains and planes contributing to the drop in visitors over the course of the show.
Though down 4% from last year, the international presence remained strong with an increase in visitors from Eastern Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan and Canada.
Together with Interfilière Paris, the 50th edition of the three-day show welcomed 26,392 buyers.
