Figleaves launches own brand line Boudoir

Lingerie etailer Figleaves is set to launch a new, luxury line, titled Boudoir, this September.

The new own brand label, which is manufactured in Derbyshire, encompasses bras, briefs and thongs.

The pieces in the luxury line, made from silk and lace, come in cup sizes A to G and retail from £16 to £70.

This latest step by the online retailer forms part of a bid to increase the company’s own brand offer, from 20 percent, to around 30 percent of its total offering over the coming two years.

The business recently, which owned by the N Brown group, posted a profit of £200,000 for the year ending in May, 2012, its first profit since it was founded 14 years ago.

The company is also determined to continue the expansion of its multi-brand portfolio, currently incorporating around 250 different names, including the likes of Elle Macpherson.

Hong Kong swimwear brands Kissin’ and Gourami, which are tailored to suit the more petite Asian female shape, will reportedly arrive in 2013.
