Online shopping destination figleaves.com has launched a major poster campaign across the London Underground for Spring Summer 2011, with sheet and escalator panels going live at over 450 sites.
The campaign features an image of the Marilyn swimsuit from figleaves’ own Midnight Grace swimwear range, which the retailer estimates will be seen by an average 4,000,000 commuters weekly.
Panels will be displayed at escalators, corridors and ticket halls concentrated at high profile locations including Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Waterloo and Green Park for three weeks until May 30t.
The campaign is designed to get commuters into the holiday mood and convey a vast collection of new swim, lingerie, lounge, mens and nightwear designs; it also coincides with the release of the new figleaves.com High Summer catalogue.
In a social media context, figleaves.com is also running a ’Where’s Wally?’ competition from Monday May 9th until Friday May 20th where commuters are encouraged to spot adverts, take a photo of themselves next to them and upload it to the figleaves.com facebook page.
