Online lingerie retailer Figleaves has appointed Miriam Lahage as its new chief executive.
Lahage will join the company this spring with a strong retail and digital pedigree, having spent her career building profitable global businesses, from TJX to NET-A-PORTER to Ebay and more recently sitting on the board at Navabi as chief merchant.
She will remain on Navabi’s board as non-executive director.
Prior to her time at NET-A-PORTER, Miriam conceived and launched Koodos, the UK’s first online discount boutique for designer brands in the U.K.
Reporting into Angela Spindler, CEO of N Brown Group, Lahage will oversee all aspects of Figleaves, arguably one of the first truly digital brands when it was established in 1998.
Commenting on her new role, Lahage said: “Figleaves has to be one of the UK’s most memorable digital retail brands with an amazing heritage. I look forward to working with the team to ensure that when it comes to lingerie and swimwear that the retailer is the first choice for customers both old and new.”
