Fenwick has appointed Jane Demuro as its buying and merchandising director.
Demuro joins the company from Soho House Retail, where she was managing director for two years.
Before that, she spent 12 years at Selfridges, where she held several roles, including head of beauty, buying director for beauty and buying director for beauty and home.
The news comes just weeks after Fenwick appointed former Argos commercial director Robbie Feather as its first-ever CEO from outside the founding family.
Commenting on Demuro’s appointment, Feather said: “I am delighted to have secured someone of Jayne’s calibre, who brings a wealth of experience that will be invaluable to us.”
Elsewhere, House of Fraser has appointed Reiss’ chief digital officer Simon Pickering as the new buying and merchandising director for clothing and accessories.
Pickering will take on the role, which also covers lingerie, swimwear and nightwear, mid next month, the retailer has confirmed.
