EXCLUSIVE: UK retail drives strong revenue growth at Hanro

Swiss lingerie and loungewear manufacturer Hanro witnessed an 8% uptick in UK revenue last year, Lingerie Insight has learned.

Growth was largely driven by e-commerce sales, with the Hanro web shop and premium ecommerce partners including Net-A-Porter and Matches Fashion putting in a strong performance.

Hanro’s London store on South Molton Street and its Harrods concession also continued to grow year on year.

The UK is now Hanro’s fourth biggest market behind the US, Germany and Switzerland.

“Hanro has seen a steady high growth for the last five years,” a spokesperson for the brand said.

“Our seasonal trend collection in particular has showed an amazing growth, but we are growing across all segments – basic, trend, women, men, daywear, nightwear and loungewear.”
