Lingerie and swimwear brand Pour Moi? will open a new office in Brighton later this year, after reporting a huge increase in sales.

The British business, headquarted in Macclesfield, will set up its southern base, which will include a showroom, in two months’ time and has plans to open an own-brand shop in the seaside town soon after.

Speaking at Moda Lingerie and Swimwear, Pour Moi? founder Michael Thompson explained the move: “For a long time we’ve wanted to open a shop down south, where we can show off the range and schedule meetings.

“We also want to attract some skill capabilities that we’re not seeing as much of in Macclesfield, like marketing, buying and product development people.”

The news comes after Pour Moi? recorded an 80% increase in sales on last year.

The brand has also entered the US market, signing an exclusive collaboration with Bare Necessities, Thompson told Lingerie Insight.

Online fashion retailer Littlewoods also took stock of Pour Moi? this year.
