L’Agent by Agent Provocateur, the diffusion line designed alongside Penélope and Mónica Cruz, will launch its first swimwear range in November.
The capsule collection will feature 20 pieces, including bikinis, swimsuits and cover ups.
There will be a variety of shapes to cater for different body types and a mixture of bright and classic colours, such as bold and navy.
Speaking to Lingerie Insight, Agent Provocateur CEO Garry Hogarth said the success of AP swimwear has led the company to expand in this area.
“Swimwear is growing incredibly fast, from virtually nothing a few years ago to just over 12% of our business.
“We opened our first AP swimwear concession in Harrods a few months ago and that’s doing incredibly well, so that something we might look at doing [with L’Agent] in the future as well. Swimwear is something Penelope and Monica are particularly keen on – they love swimwear.”
The new swimwear collection will launch in L’Agent stores, online at lagentbyap.com and on Net A Porter in July.
