Figleaves, the online lingerie and swimwear retailer, has appointed former Tesco director Natalie Burrows as interim managing director.
Burrows brings significant experience in ecommerce, digital strategy and customer-focused service design to the role, having spent seven years at Tesco as director of digital product and head of product management and user experience before departing the company in March 2016.
She currently runs her own product design consulting firm and is a non-executive board member within Metropolitan Housing.
Burrows will now be responsible for developing, finalising and delivering against Figleaves’ strategic plan and 2017/18 business plan and ensuring the successful implementation of the new Demandware platform and Figleaves’ recent rebrand, leading all teams to optimise the customer journey.
Commenting on her new role, she said: “Figleaves is a brand I’ve always admired. They’re at the forefront of lingerie in the UK and are committed to making women feel utterly brilliant – I love that. I really connect with the brand and what it stands for and I am thrilled to be joining such a great team and brand.”
Burrows replaces Fiona Holmes, who left Figleaves earlier this year to join interior furnishings company Walker Greenbank, and will remain in the role until a permanent candidate is found.
