Bravissimo is set to launch a US transactional website in the coming months, Lingerie Insight has learned.
The fuller-bust lingerie and swimwear retailer hopes the new site, which will sell products in US dollars, will help retain loyal customers based in America and attract new shoppers.
Speaking to Lingerie Insight in London today, Bravissimo product manager Clare Harris said: “This is really exciting for us because we’ve got a lot of US customers already, who we ship internationally to, but it’s going to mean that we can offer them much better service levels and it also allows to us reach out to new customers in the states.”
The US site will be another version of the new UK site, which relaunched last month with a contemporary design, delivering a brand-focused, feel-good experience.
Bravissimo also updated its live chat service, which it introduced in 2015 to provide video assistance to customers browsing its website.
Through this, shoppers can interact with one of the Bravissimo’s customer service consultants on screen, ask questions and see the product range close up.
Asked whether Bravissimo would tap into other markets following the US launch, Harris said: “Potentially, but our focus for now is on the US because we already know that we have a US customer base and we want to do the best job we can with that customer base.”
