Eveden’s chief executive and management team have picked up two prestigious awards at a ceremony celebrating business achievements for Midlands-based companies.
Tracy Lewis, chief executive for the lingerie and swimwear manufacturer, was named CEO of the year at the event hosted by the British Venture Capital Association (BVCA).
Eveden also picked up the Exit Management Team of the Year for its handling of the sale of the company to Japan-based Wacoal.
Eveden Group, which is the UK’s largest lingerie and swimwear company, changed its name to Wacoal Eveden in January this year.
Its brands include Freya, Fantasie, Fauve, Elomi, Goddess and Huit.
“I am delighted that Eveden has been presented with the BVCA Midlands award for Exit Management Team of the Year and absolutely thrilled to have been presented with Chief Executive of the Year,” said Lewis. “Winning these awards is testament to our consistent effort and achievement in developing the reach of our brands internationally.”
Lewis was also recently awarded in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for Best Consumer Product Business in the Midlands as well as UK Private Equity-backed Entrepreneur of the Year.
