Eva Lingerie honours corset heritage with Hampstead pop-up

European lingerie brand Eva Lingerie has snapped up a spot as one of ten independent brands taking part in a London pop up.

Hampstead-based lifestyle retailer, A Luxe Story, welcomed a variety of emerging brands across different industries, including lingerie, footwear, clothing and jewellery, for three weeks.

Eva Lingerie, which boasts an extensive history in corsetry, is displaying a selection of its latest lingerie, including lace knickers, triangle wireless bras and French lace shorts, alongside a trio of corsets dating back 100 years.

Stephanie Dölker, who runs the family-owned European brand with her two sisters, told Lingerie Insight that pop ups present a unique opportunity to speak to consumers as opposed to wholesalers.

She said: “The benefit for us is that we normally sell to wholesale, so we don’t actually meet our customers, the women that buy our bras. It’s a wonderful opportunity to be in a shop to take something into a changing room.”

In 2016 Naturana relaunched its high-fashion designer brand, Eva, with a collection of luxury lingerie.
