Eurovet launches California trade show

Eurovet, a French organiser of lingerie and fabric shows, is launching a new exhibition dedicated to swimwear and activewear in California.

Riviera by CURVExpo will take place from August 11-12 at the Hyatt Regency Beach Resort in partnership with the International Swimwear and Activewear Market.

The move follows the launch of Riviera by Mode City in September this year, which took place in Cannes.

Eurovet CEO Marie-Laure Bellon commented: : “Since we have acquired CURVExpo, we are now closer to fulfilling the needs of the industry in North America. The success of this first Riviera in Cannes validated our strategy: acting globally and locally by gathering the industry at the most favorable time and place to conduct business.”

CURVExpo CEO Pierre-Nicolas added: “We want to create an exceptionally focused event, organized to offer the best experience for both brands and attendees. We will offer all-inclusive contemporary booth packages, attractive travel incentives, complimentary food and beverage, exclusive fashion show all of that in an upscale setting. We will bring our organizational know-how and dedicated marketing platform system to this new exciting project.”

Eurovet acquired CURVEExpo from co-founders Jean-Luc Teinturier and Laurence Teinturier in April 2012.

The organiser’s other key events include Salon International de la Lingerie and Mode City, which respectively take place in January and July in Paris. Interfiliere, the fabric and trimmings show, runs simultaneously each season.
