Etailer opens competition to unknown designers

Esty Lingerie, an online lingerie boutique dedicated to supporting independent brands, has launched a competition to give one undiscovered designer the chance to have their design produced and sold via the website.

Now in its fifth year, the competition is open to the public, meaning all entrants are welcome to apply, from contour fashion students to budding designers with a passion for lingerie.

The theme for 2015 is Modern Classics, which entrants are encouraged to interpret in a creative way.

Esty founder Estelle Puleston explained: “Perhaps you will design a chemise based on the classic Little Black Dress, or maybe you will recreate a popular vintage style in a modern fabric or print.”

Applicants must submit an image of their design, 100-200 words describing how it fits the Modern Classics theme, and details of materials to be used to entries@estylingerie.com by November 30, 2015.

The winning design will be produced and sold on estylingerie.com, and the winner will receive a set for themselves, a £100 gift voucher and an interview on the Esty Lingerie blog.
