An independent lingerie retailer renowned for raising thousands of pounds for charity by climbing mountains in her corset has closed her boutique in Essex for the final time.
Curvature Boutique closed on October 21, after owner Kirsty McAspurn decided it was time to pursue new adventures and spend more time with her family.
McAspurn has made a name for herself in the local press for completing the three peaks challenge in her corset and raising more than £2,000 for Against Breast Cancer.
She established her boutique five years ago, opening for business on November 10, 2012.
The store was popular among local customers McAspurn affectionately called her ‘Curvettes’ and sold lingerie from brands such as Curvy Kate, Gossard, Lepel and Parfait.
Curvature Boutique also offered a point of difference by selling a range of non-branded corsets shipped from the US.
Signing off on Facebook earlier this week, McAspurn said: “Thank you Curvettes, you are all amazing, it has been a pleasure.”
