Maternity lingerie brand Emma-Jane has renamed its entire collection after royal mums, to celebrate the birth of the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William’s son.
Emma-Jane’s nursing 362 bra, included in the ‘next generation range’, will be renamed ‘Kate’, while the company’s “most loved” 361 bra will now be called Elizabeth.
Other garments under the next generation range of bras, which see mums through the latter stages of pregnancy and through breastfeeding, include ‘Zara’ and ‘Margaret’, previously named 365 and 311 respectfully.
Bras included in the ‘nursing range’ have been named after Princess Diana, the Countess of Wessex, and Princess Anne.
Emma-Jane managing director Ian Gerecht said; “We have been making maternity bras for over 25 years. New mum Kate heralds the next generation of Royal mums and we could think of no greater mark of respect than to rename our entire bra range after some of the most inspirational and much loved royal mums in history.”
