An Essex-based lingerie retailer has won £800 worth of stock from Chantelle Lingerie after being crowned the winner of the brand’s Christmas window competition.
Chantelle stockists were sent window kits at the end of December and were asked to create striking window displays embracing Chantelle’s AW13 campaign theme, ‘La Lingerie Noire’.
Eden Lake, located in Saffron Walden, used the kit to “perfectly capture” the season’s campaign, according to Chantelle.
Owners Michelle Murray and Claire Glover were delighted to win. “The underwear in the Chantelle collection is so beautiful that we really wanted to do it justice,” they said.
"Using all the props that we were supplied we wanted to create an indulgent window with raindrops and sunshine, as no matter what the weather is like you always feel truly great in quality underwear. The window was fun to do; it took us a long time, but was worth the effort.”
Chantelle said the the quality of the Christmas window entrants was so high that it decided to award a few runners-up with a set of Chantelle lingerie each.
Yvonne Dillon from Preston-based Essentials was one of them. She said: “My Chantelle Christmas window was a great success. This was a wonderful opportunity to promote the brand, and we certainly feel that we benefited from the window display.”
