A lingerie shop based in East Devon has been reopened after undergoing a major expansion.
The Mayor of Honiton, Councillor Caroline Kolek, officially opened Lace Lingerie in Black Lions Court earlier this month.
Lace Lingerie, which has been trading for nearly two years, expanded into its neighbouring unit after outgrowing its current retail space, reports View News.
Owner Deborah Hunter said: “When the opportunity to expand into the next unit became available we decided to go for it. By expanding we are able to offer our customers more products and ranges.
“We now offer a range of men’s underwear and night- wear, a small range of swim- wear and also specialist mastectomy and nursing bras.”
Commenting on the opening, Councillor Kolek said: “There has been a lot of coverage recently about the need for independent businesses in Honiton, so it’s great to see Lace Lingerie expanding. Independent shops are what make Honiton.”
New ranges stocked in the expanded shop include Fantasie, Freya and Jockey.
Deborah and her husband Philip are looking to introduce PrimaDonna lingerie in the near future, as well as scarves and jewellery.
Lace Lingerie will hold a fitting event on September 30.
