Leading online retailers including John Lewis and Shop Direct will take part in a roundtable this month to discuss the most pressing issues facing the ecommerce sector in 2017.
Hosted by IMRG, the UK’s industry association for e-retail, and Capgemini, a French multinational management consulting corporation, the session will kick off with a review of the online sales figures for Christmas and look back on 2016.
Plus, there will be an open floor discussion with the retailers around their priorities and concerns for 2017.
IMRG and Capgemini will also reveal the results for total online spend and Index growth for 2016.
The IMRG Capgemini e-Retail Sales Index tracks UK online sales of products and services from more than 100 e-retailers, including the Arcadia Group, ASOS, Debenhams, House of Fraser, John Lewis Partnership, Marks & Spencer, New Look and Next.
The roundtable will take place in London on January 17.
