E-commerce director leaves Boux Avenue

Boux Avenue e-commerce director Dan Lumb has left the company just two months after launch.

Dan Lumb, who was listed in the Retail Week’s Etail Power List 2010 as ‘one to watch’ for the future, had been with the business since July last year.

He has played a key role in the operations of the retailer, which prides itself on being primarily a transactional website, with the stores acting merely as an additional dimension to the online business.

The website launched in April, 2011, along with six Boux Avenue stores, located at shopping malls in Manchester, Cardiff, Sheffield, Glasgow, Essex and Kent.

Boux Avenue has given no indication yet as to when Lumb’s replacement will be announced.

Lumb originally came to Boux Avenue from footwear retailer Schuh, where he gained the majority of his experience after he was promoted from internet manager to the role of head of ecommerce.
