The state-of-the-art warehouse, named Dobologic, will be 34.000m2 in size, more than double the capacity of its former building.

Dobotex said the significant size increase was deemed necessary in order to drive forward business growth.

Dobologic Site Manager, Rob van de Kant said: “We are looking forward to this incredible new facility which will allow us to continue to grow and ensure that our quality level remains high.

“As we consider logistics to be a key factor to our success, this warehouse expansion was a clear next step for Dobotex.”

With the official grand opening set for October, the next six months will allow Dobologic the time needed to complete the massive transfer from one facility to the other.

It is estimated that the transfer will require approximately 250 semi-truck loads of relocated product.

The building was constructed using sustainable materials, with the help of eco-friendly real estate developer Dokvast.
