Contour Fashion students from De Montfort University showcased their lingerie and swimwear designs to big names in the industry at Graduate Fashion Week last night.
Designers and directors at Gossard, LF Intimates and Tutti Rouge were among those looking to spot emerging talent at the show, which took place at the Truman Brewery in East London.
Twenty third-year students each presented five pieces, which they had designed and hand crafted over the past 12 months.
Collections consisted of Japanese-inspired robes; bras made of carbon fibre and lace; a leather and suede collection based around Masonic and secret society symbols; and structured corsets inspired by regal and religious relics from the Renaissance period.
Students were selected to present their work at Graduate Fashion Week by an industry panel on May 13. The designers then honed their garments based on feedback from the judges.
