Luxury lingerie brand Dirty Pretty Things (DPT) has reopened the books for the their FW2013 line due to popular demand.
After a successful appearance at CurveNY, the company has put the fall and winter 2013 collection of bras, panties, nighties and other vintage-inspired items back on the market.
DPT’s director Claire Merry believes the line’s expansion has strengthened sales and interest, saying “this season we’ve introduced a lot of new shapes, including a girdle and slip, that have been well received by the buyers.” The company’s focus on quality has most likely helped as well, with Merry adding that DPT spends a “substantial amount of time ensuring excellent fit,” and always “uses stunning silk to produce the most luxurious garments.”
The company’s visit to New York also provided the opportunity to meet with American buyers for the first time. Merry states that the company will definitely return to the US in the future, and will continuing securing new stockists through the Salon De Lingerie, CurveNY and the Lingerie Collective, which she describes as a “massive tool in showcasing the brand to the widest audiences.”
