Dessous London, a new intimate apparel trade show taking place in the capital next month, will see the UK trade launch of Dita Von Teese Lingerie.
The creative team behind The Lingerie Edit will open the exhibition in London’s Marylebone with the aim of reinterpreting the traditional trade show format by offering a touch of ‘theatre’ to stimulate and excite buyers.
Dita Von Teese Lingerie, one of several premium brands to appear at the show, will present sensual, vintage and old Hollywood glamour-inspired pieces, including a seven-piece capsule collection created in collaboration with Christian Louboutin.
Lingerie Insight reported in November that Dita Von Teese Lingerie had restarted under a new enterprise after its manufacturer and distributor, DCI Corporation, fell into administration.
Anderson Brockhurst (AB) Enterprises is the new distributor of Dita Von Teese Lingerie globally and is exploring new opportunities to build the brand’s retail presence internationally.
The company was formed by Helen Anderson, formerly the general manager of DCI Corporation, and creative director Lara Brockhurst, who originally collaborated with burlesque star Dita Von Teese to launch the brand in November 2013.
Anderson, director of AB Enterprises, said at the time: “We’re thrilled to continue collaborating with Dita Von Teese with whom we have always had a successful and mutually beneficial working relationship. Dita Von Teese Lingerie has continued to thrive here in Australia and internationally and we’re looking forward to further growing the brand in all markets.”
Dessous London will also see the exclusive wholesale launch of Alexandra Miro, which has developed a range of premium swimsuits.
The debut collection has been designed to lift and shape the bottom and emphasise the bust, with a Brazilian-inspired design, using minimal fabric.
Designs from German shapewear and legwear brand ITEM m6, Kris Soonik and Loveday London will also be presented to UK buyers.
